Juan Ignacio Villanueva has been an associate at DENFAB since 2016. He has been practicing as a lawyer since 2007 and has worked in renowned local firms advising clients on operations related to corporate law, commercial law and real estate law; Likewise, he has served as a director in operating companies in Panama which has allowed him to provide advice to his clients adding a business focus. Mr. Villanueva obtained his bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science with Cum Laude honors at the Universidad Santa María La Antigua in 2005 and later completed his master's degree (LL.M.) in 2007 with an emphasis on Corporate and Commercial Law in The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London, England. Additionally, he has a postgraduate degree in Entrepreneurial Excellence from the University of Arkansas (2013) and a Diploma in Labor Law from the Universidad Latina de Panamá (2016). He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama. Ramiro Góngora Candanedo has been an associate of DENFAB since 2016. He has been practicing as a lawyer since 2001 and has worked as a trial lawyer in the Superior Prosecutor's Office Specialized in Civil Matters of the Public Ministry and in the private sector, practice areas include Civil Law , Criminal, labor and Administrative, as well as management and legal advice in the National Assembly among other state entities. Mr. Góngora Candanedo obtained his bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Panama, and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Extracontractual Liability of the State at the University of Castilla La Mancha, in Toledo, Spain. He also completed doctoral studies in Procedural Law from the National University of Rosario, Argentina. His continuous academic training includes several diploma courses, seminars and conferences. Alexandra Grimaldo is a lawyer at DENFAB, and has been practicing the profession since 2012. She has specialized in different areas of law such as Corporate Law, estate planning and tax law. Ms. Grimaldo obtained her bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science at the Santa Maria la Antigua University in 2012. Ana Lucía Márquez Brostella is a lawyer at DENFAB and has been practicing law since 2008. She has specialized in different areas of law such as Corporate Law, contracts and sales. Márquez obtained her bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science at the Universidad Santa Maria la Antigua, in 2006. In 2007, she completed her master's degree (LL.M.) with an emphasis in Corporate Law, at the University of Pennsylvania (University of Pennsylvania Law School) and later obtained a Diploma in Accounting from the Specialized University of the Public Accountant of Panama. Brayan Bethancourt Córdoba is a lawyer in the Litigation department of DENFAB. With more than seven (7) years of judicial practice in different departments of the Judicial Branch of Panama, he has developed his career within spheres that oversee jurisdictions such as contentious, administrative and labor, maritime and civil. Evelin E. Rosas Pérez, is a Lawyer in Law and Political Science, graduated from the University of Panama in 2009. She began her professional career in the Judicial Branch, dedicating herself to public service for 16 years, where she held various positions, such as executing bailiff, judge in the Municipal and Civil Circuit Courts, special substitute magistrate in the First Superior Court of the First Judicial District of Panama and assistant to Magistrates of the Court of Maritime Appeals. Subsequently, in 2009, he obtained his (LL.M.) with an emphasis in Corporate Law, at Boston College Law School in Newton, Massachusetts. Additionally, he has a Master's Degree in Tax Law from the Institute of Legal Study and Research of Nicaragua carried out in collaboration with the Administrative Tax Court of Panama completed in 2021. She is a member of the National Bar Association and the Panamanian Academy of Administrative Law, currently holding the position of Treasurer. Majella del C. Rivera has been a member of DENFAB since 2011. She has worked in different areas of law such as corporate law, real estate law and horizontal property. Ms. Rivera completed her studies at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Panama. In addition, he has two Diplomas. The first is related to the Public Registry of Panama, and the second on Computer Crimes and Forensic Computer Science, both awarded by the Universidad Latina de Panama (2014).
